Part Two: The Ghosts of Port Essington

I received several requests to colour more Port Essington photos this week and was excited to find a gorgeous photo of early Port Essington residents having a picnic in a forest. This photo was tricky to colour as there were so many people in their Sunday-best, fancy dishes on top of wooden crates, bales of hay and a few objects I have yet to identify! It took over 10 hours and 300 layers of colour to bring this photo to life. I created a time lapse video that shows the different stages of the process. Enjoy!
